New Zealand Certificate in Health and Wellbeing Level 4 (Hybrid)

The New Zealand Certificate in Health and Wellbeing (Social and Community Services) (Level 4) with strands in Palliative Care and Dementia Care is a 50-week programme (including two holiday weeks) worth 120 credits. It combines 37 weeks of theory (Part A) with 11 weeks of practical training (Part B), amounting to a total of 1,200 learning hours.

Students engage in 25 hours of directed online learning each week, supported by an individual learning plan and guidance from experienced lecturers. In addition, a 400-hour clinical work placement (non-paid) is arranged by Kalandra Education Group to provide hands-on experience.
